Your first visit to the clinic will take approximately forty minutes. If you feel that you would like to bring someone with you, you are welcome to do so.

Comprehensive Consultation

If you have not filled them in on-line, on arrival at the clinic you will be given some forms to complete, in order for us to keep up-to-date records. You will then enter a private treatment room where the Chiropractor will carry out the initial assessment. This involves taking a complete medical and lifestyle history, as well as discussing your primary complaint.

Thorough Examination

Next, you will be asked to change into a back-opening gown, in order for the physical examination to be carried out. You keep your underwear on underneath the gown and can also wear shorts if you want to. The examination includes tests that focus on your muscle, joint and nerve function, posture and alignment.

X-rays may be Necessary

Sometimes it is necessary for x-rays to be taken prior to receiving treatment. If these are required, x-rays will be carried out on site at this first visit.

On your second visit we will review all of the exam findings from today’s initial visit.
